Earthquake-prone buildings policies on web

The Department has compiled a summary of some aspects of the earthquake-prone buildings policies from all 73 territorial authorities, and has made this available on our website. This summary will be useful to owners with old buildings in two or more districts to help plan the upgrade of their building stock. It will also be a valuable reference for territorial authorities when they carry out the five-year review of their policy by letting them compare with other similar districts. The summary indicates whether the completed earthquake-prone buildings policies are also available on each council's website.
