Registered Master Builders House of the Year, in association with PlaceMakers

Another Registered Master Builders event which the Department of Building and Housing sponsors to recognise excellence in building is the Registered Master Builders House of the Year, in association with PlaceMakers. The Gala dinner announcing the national winners was held in Auckland in late November.

The Department, which is one of 11 supporting sponsors, was pleased to provide one of the new sustainable building awards - the Department of Building and Housing Sustainable Homes under $500,000 Award. Future Homes NZ Ltd won the award for a property they built in Acacia Bay, Taupo.
