Licence classes proposal released

Licensing of Building Practitioners: Feedback from consultation and final proposed licence classes summarises the key themes raised by the industry through submissions, explains the development of the licence classes and sets out the proposal.

It has been circulated to everyone who has contributed to the development of the licence classes including those who made written submissions on the discussion document Licensing of Building Practitioners: Discussing the Options and key industry groups.

The discussion document, released in August 2004, drew 208 written submissions and an attendance of more than 1000 at a series of consultation meetings throughout the country. The proposed licence classes were further developed after submissions were analysed and the revised proposal was tested with industry groups in February and March.
