Application packs
Application packs for the first seven licence classes are now available. There are eight separate packs.
Brochures and fact sheets
These are introductions to the Licensed Building Practitioner Scheme and include fact sheets on the LPB Scheme for Designers, Builders and Carpenters as well as information on the responsibilities of being licensed.
Forms
These are forms for practitioners who are licensed but who need to:
- change their details on the register
- apply for a replacement licence
- suspend or cancel their licence
- record their skills maintenance
- appeal to the Building Practitioners Board
Standards and competencies
The formal Licensed Building Practitioner Rules have been published. These include the licence class competencies for each licence – in short, what you need to show in able to apply for a licence.
Licensing Update
Licensing Update is a regular e-newsletter that covers information and news about occupational licensing in New Zealand. The main topics it covers are news and developments in licensing, industry events and Licensed Building Practitioner Scheme details.
